AUK-P Bulking Agent
It refers to the admixtures that are produced by chemical reactions in mortar and concrete. It is frequently used in construction of the post-grouting belts of the engineering, or other engineering parts that require the shrinkage compensating and reduction of cracking. The causes of cracks in reinforced concrete are complex, for the materials, dry shrinkage and shrinkage of concrete are the main reasons. Therefore, it is an ideal way to add the swelling agent in concrete which can achieve to compensate for its shrinkage. When adding the swelling agent into the ordinary concrete, mix water to generate a large number of expansion crystal hydrates-Calcium sulfoaluminate hydrates (that is ettringite),which makes the concrete produce moderate expansion, a 0.2~0.7Mpa compressive pre-stress is established in the structure under the restraint of steel bar and adjacent ,this compressive pre-stress can roughly offset shrinkage tensile stress of the concrete in the hardening process, meanwhile, postpone the generating process of contraction. When the concrete begins to shrink, its tensile resistance is sufficient to resist the shrinkage stress, thereby preventing or reducing the shrinkage cracking of concrete at later stage; and the procreant ettringite makes concrete more dense, thus the anti crack performance of concrete structure is greatly improved.
Product performance:
- Recommend dosage: 6%~10%.
- The expansion rate is greater than the expansion rate of UEA (commercially available) mixing amount is 12%.
- Low alkali content: the content of（K2O+Na2O）is 0.3~0.4%, far below 1.7~2.2% of the U type bulking agent, which has a great significance.
- Due to the reduction of the mixing amount, it does not affect the early strength and later strength, and truly achieve equivalent substitute cement.
Instructions:
For the high requirements of anti permeability and anti cracking of concrete can increase the mixing amount. Before the initial setting of the concrete, the surface of the concrete shall be repeatedly pressed against the air drying in accordance with the relevant construction regulations, avoiding the settlement causes the cracks, after the final setting start the maintenance and the maintenance period shall not be less than 12 days. This agent should be used after the test with local cement in the work site. The concrete slump loss cannot be increased and with good construction performance.
Packaging and storage :
- This powder product is packed by plastic bag, 25kg/bag or 50kg/bag.
- Should be stored in a cool and dry place, avoid direct sunlight, damp.
- Product is invalid after twelve months, use before testing if it expires.
